The Heart of Yoga

-

Practicing the core of the teachings

A long weekend full of yoga practice, workshop, and stimulating discussions, this retreat is for those who are looking for a real deep dive into all matters yoga, so expect a busy schedule that also leaves enough time for rest. The intention behind every practice session, every workshop, and every group study is to get to the bottom of what yoga is about, what are the main purposes of practicing, and how yoga can be applied off the mat. We take a few days to live, breathe, and move as dedicated yogis and yoginis, feeling the full effect of yoga on all levels, and then taking with us whatever we need back to our daily life and integrating it in a way that works.

Oren is teaching the way he was taught by some of the greatest yoga masters in the world, carrying in his heart and mind his 20 years of sincere practice and long time spent in India studying and practicing, combining different approaches and styles into an all encompassing breath-centered yoga in the spirit of the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya which is based on the premise that yoga must be adapted to the individual and not the other way around. The approach is one of compassion, encouraging inquiry, and inviting an intelligent exploration of body, breath and mind.

Hope you can join me for this transformational experience, spend time in the quiet surroundings with like-minded people, and enjoy the incredible vegan cuisine of Marika Netzel.
